Christ Church Grammar School opened on February 7, 1910 with one classroom and an enrollment of nine boys.
The School's dynamic programs enable boys and young men to search for their talents and discover their social conscience and character. Activities such as chess, debating and cadets further enrich the learning experience.
Our school is one that provides endless opportunity for its students to experience variety and success. Through the diversity of its programs and the enthusiasm of our staff, we strive to fulfill our Mission: “Boys educated to know, to do, to live with others and to be.”
School aims:
- to encourage boys to respect spiritual and moral values based on Christian faith and principles
- to enable boys to grow in knowledge, skills and understanding
- to create an environment - spiritual, intellectual, pastoral, creative and physical - in which each boy is purposefully involved, is encouraged in accordance with his needs and abilities to develop his special talents to the full and is provided with manifold opportunities to gain in confidence
- to develop young men of integrity and to serve others.
