Scotch College is a co-educational independent school from Preschool to Year 12. There are Boys' and Girls' Boarding Houses available from Years 7 to 12. Scotch is only eight kilometres south of the Adelaide Central Business District with views over the City centre. The College is on over 20 hectares of beautifully landscaped grounds.
Scotch College's SACE assessment provides students with a Tertiary Entrance Ranking (TER) giving entry into universities both in Australia and around the world. Nearly 100% of Scotch International Students go on to University studies, either in Australia or overseas. Recent tertiary destinations have included the University of Sydney, the Australian National University and Princeton University in the United States. Tertiary study choices often include Medicine, Law, Commerce and Business Studies.
At Scotch we recommend our International Students reside in our boarding houses. There is accommodation for up to 80 boarders, with separate houses for boys and girls. Support staff includes two Heads of Boarding, tutors, house assistants and a College Nurse, which ensures a high-level of individual care and attention. Some students prefer Homestay accommodation and Scotch has several local families who welcome International Students into their homes. There is a full-time International Student Coordinator looking after the welfare of all International Students.
